The pandemic made events and funding impossible. Being all volunteer made a difficult job even more difficult. The work of the 501c3 will continue but no longer as a charity. We are starting a new chapter of our story called Made to Shine. All books donated will be digital in a partnership with Cindy Lu Books. Together we created Made to SHINE Story Time.
Give a Child a Voice Foundation- HOW WE MADE a DIFFERENCE: We donated - Traditional books, eBooks & wristbands -We donated-79,899 books to kids- Empowering kids & families with a POSITIVE message. We are now moving to a digital platform on YouTube making our books as videos and available to everyone. We have a large outreach & following through the videos we share on this website & You Tube. Many have contacted us thanking us for the resource.
